Monaro is the intelligence layer for distributor bid desks. Upload a drawing set and it extracts the equipment schedule, counts every diffuser, grille, fan and fixture across every floor, and structures the takeoff for quoting. Supplier RFQs, quote formatting and submittals happen in the same place, so a bid moves from drawing to deal without re-keying anything.
Instead of takeoffs in Adobe, quotes in Excel and supplier pricing in email, your team works in one system where each step feeds the next.
How secure is my data?
Security is built into the product at every layer. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. Sign-in is via Microsoft or Google SSO with MFA inherited from your identity provider, or an email magic link. Paid plans can also enforce organization-level 2FA.
Your files, takeoffs, pricing and quotes are isolated to your organization and never shared with anyone. You keep ownership, auditability and full control over access, retention and permissions at all times.
Does Monaro integrate with the ERP we already use?
Yes. Monaro is built to fit the way your business already runs. Finalized quotes and order data push straight into your ERP, so there is no double entry and pricing stays current. Supplier quotes come back into the platform where you compare them side by side instead of chasing email threads.
Most bid desks find the disconnected workflow of takeoffs in Adobe, quotes in Excel and POs in the ERP simply disappears once everything flows through one system.
How difficult is onboarding?
Most teams run their first takeoff the same day they sign up. There are no templates to build, no training program and no IT setup. Upload a drawing set and Monaro extracts the schedule and counts the equipment on its own. Because the output is structured the way distributors already quote, terminal equipment only with no pipe, fittings or labour, your coordinators do not have to relearn their job. They just stop doing the slow parts of it. And if you get stuck, our team helps you directly.
What kind of support do you offer?
Real support from people who know the product and the industry. Every customer gets access to our support team via chat and email, with priority response times based on issue severity. Monaro was built with HVAC and mechanical designers, contractors and distributors, so support understands what a bid desk actually does.
Enterprise customers get a dedicated account manager. And when a takeoff flags ambiguous items, that is by design, so you review them in minutes instead of hunting for them later.
How does your pricing work?
Pricing scales with your branches and your quoting volume, not your headcount. Every plan includes unlimited users and verified AI takeoffs. You pick the plan that matches your volume and change it as you grow. Plans start at $800 a month for a single profit centre with 25 takeoffs included. There is a free trial to start, no pilot pricing to negotiate, and our pricing is published openly. If your volume changes, you move between plans without penalty.
Can Monaro fit the way my bid desk already works?
Yes, Monaro adapts to how you quote, not the other way around. Your margins, your pricing rules and your branded quote format carry through automatically, and submittals are attached the way your customers expect. Because it is built for distributors, it counts terminal equipment only: diffusers, grilles, fans, fixtures, boilers and pumps, with no pipe, fittings, labour or install in the way.
Ambiguous items get flagged for a quick human decision, so the system bends to your judgment where it matters most.
